Meet Our Staff 
Rev. Dr. Matt Hadley - Senior Pastor
 

Pastor Matt was raised in Madison, WI and graduated from Edgewood College where he attended on a Religious Studies scholarship. Following college he and his wife Janet moved to Washington D.C. where Matt graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary as the recipient of the C.C. Goen award for academic excellence in the study of the history of Christianity. Matt has been at Still Waters since 2002. Matt enjoys golfing and has a passion for non-traditional worship experiences. He recently earned his Doctorate of Ministry in Preaching at Wesley.

Becky Schmidt - Minister of Spiritual Formation

Becky joined the Still Waters staff in September of 2008 as Minister of Spiritual Formation.  Prior to this Becky worked as a chaplain, physical therapist and Faith Development Coordinator for Zion United Methodist Church in Colgate.  She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Marquette University, a Masters of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation from University of Wisconsin-Stout and is completing her graduate work in theology and spiritual formation at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary.  Becky is a certified candidate for Ordination as a Deacon.  If all goes as planned, Becky will complete her graduate classes and be eligible for commissioning in June of 2010.

Becky's passions are pastoral care-- walking with people in the midst of illness or other life transitions, spiritual direction--companioning people as they seek to grow in discipleship and find ways that their faith informs their daily life and worship--proclaiming the Word and leading the congregation in joys and concerns.
 
She feels blessed to be a part of such a dynamic and spirit filled congregation!

Jeff Radley - Minister of Membership Development

Pastor Jeff joined the staff of Still Waters in August of 2009 as the Minister of Membership Development. Prior to joining the staff, Jeff held many lay volunteer leadership positions at Still Waters. He and his wife began meeting with the founding Pastor of Still Waters before worship began in 1996.

He is licensed for Pastoral Ministry in the United Methodist Church, and is also employed as a consumer product designer in Wauwatosa.

Pastor Jeff and his wife, Dorthy, the Wisconsin Conference of the United Methodist Church Lay Leader, reside in Slinger.

Pastor Jeff is excited to serve this non-traditional community of faith.

Karen Huettner - Church Administrator 

Karen attended Winona State University in Minnesota where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.  After several years as a stay at home mom, she came to Still Waters as our church administrator and is responsible for all accounting and administrative duties.  She enjoys the flexible & family-friendly working environment that Still Waters provides.  In her spare time she enjoys volunteering, going on mission trips and spending time with her family and friends.  
Heidi Anderson - Parish Nurse 
 

Heidi is a graduate of Carthage College with a BA in Biology and Education.  She continued her education at St. Louis University and received a BS in Nursing.  She has taught high school health education and practiced nursing in a pediatric setting.  After finishing a certificate in Grief Support from Marquette University, she completed their program in Parish Nursing.  Heidi is a member of  Still Waters Church and is in partnership with Aurora Health Care as a Parish Nurse.  She very much enjoys ministering to her Church Family.  Heidi is married to Ross and they are parents to three grown sons and grandparents to baby Claire. 

Leah Witte - Sunday School (TidePool) Coordinator

Leah went to college at UW-Oshkosh and received a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.  She has been a labor and delivery nurse since graduation, now focusing on staff education.  Here at Still Waters, Leah has the privilege of setting up a program for our children to learn about the Lord and all of the wonderful things they are capable of through him.  During the younger years, she tries to give them a good knowledge of the stories and miracles in the bible.  As they get older and receive their third grade bible, Tidepool focuses on the bible and learning how to use it.  Prior to leaving Tidepool, our 5th-6th graders have a program which focuses on how to apply Christian principles to their lives and decisions; as well as supporting their transition to middle school and confirmation.


Jay Maier - Media Coordinator

Jay attended I.T.T. Technical Institute and earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.  He works as an Engineer in Pewaukee. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, running, racquetball, traveling and spending time with his family.  Jay has been a member of Still Waters church since 2003 and became the Media Coordinator in January of 2009.
