United Methodist Doctrine
Many of those who come
to Still Waters are from a background other that the United Methodist Church.
Others who have grown up in the Methodist Church may have forgotten the
Methodist history, doctrine, polity and social stances.
Join Eric Geurts and Pastor Matt as they lead this interactive group and
come away with a better understanding of the United Methodist Church.
Mindfulness Meditation in Everyday Life
Mindfulness is the
practice of being in the present moment with full attention and awareness.
Through practice, we can begin to quiet the mind and body which allows
the discovery of a source of peace and balance that exists within each one of
us, even amid the stress of daily life. This
can be helpful to those who desire a simpler, slower lifestyle.
Lead by Parish Nurse Heidi Anderson
