Family Promise
Week of June 9-15

The week of June 9, there is a wonderful opportunity to support individuals experiencing homelessness through Family Promise. Our support this week is best served by providing a home cooked meal for guests to heat and serve themselves and/or provide some much needed supplies.
The shelter is currently serving 3 families in the program (8 guests) and a provided meal would be sized accordingly. However, overall the shelter is serving an additional 25 plus individuals, parents and children in both shelter and transitional apartments. So, if you are able to make a little larger serving the other guests would be most appreciative and it won't go to waste! Attached are some meal preferences to give you an idea of some possibilities. In that list are a few groceries if you’d rather just pick up a couple groceries.
Alternatively (or additionally!), if you’d like to bring some much needed supplies to the family promise center, that would be greatly appreciated! The “June Needs” supply list is attached to this email. The supply list you can also find on our website as well as in our lobby on the Connection Table. If you'd like more options, you can find a more comprehensive wishlist at Amazon Wishlist Link - https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/3TXEIU79K8YUL
