Our Next Meeting Will Be


We will be taking a summer break. Keep checking back for our next meeting in September

Hi Ladies,



The Women’s Group’s Salad and a Movie will be scheduled for a Friday in July. Robin will check with the Church calendar to find a suitable date. The movie will be “I Can Only Imagine II” with the children’s movie being “Hoppers”. Jean owns the movie and will let us use it. We will sign up to make salads when our date is determined.

 

John McGivern will be at the Schauer Arts Center in Hartford on December 12th. There are a number of us that would like to go to the 1:00 performance (with dinner afterwards). Nancy will advise us when the tickets are available and we will purchase the $55 seats. I have Teresa, Sandra, Ann, Susie, Jean and Robin on the list so far. If you want to go (this is a firm commitment) let me know so we can purchase our seats all at once.

 

On July 27th, Gary Clausing (with his band, Praise and Spirits, featuring our own Lori Haggenstein) will be offering a free concert at Foxtown Brewery in Mequon. Doors open at 4:30. More information to follow.

 

Don’t forget, the Still Water Women’s Retreat is coming up August 28th through the 30th at Mt. Morris Retreat Center in Wautoma, Wi. We will be exploring how to care for ourselves as Christian women. See below for more information.

Still Waters Women’s Retreat

Join us for a Women’s Retreat August 28th – 30th, 2026 at Mt. Morris Camp and Retreat Center, W6016 Blackhawk Road, Wautoma, Wi. 54982. Our focus will be on Self Care and the Bible. Cost is $210/person based on a shared room. Price includes lodging, dinner on Friday, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday, as well as all program costs. The Black Oak Lodge sleeps 19 and boasts a full kitchen as well as a gathering room with a fireplace. In addition to being surrounded by wooded walking paths, there is a beautiful pool which, weather permitting, we will be able to use. Food is always delicious, plentiful and thoughtfully prepared with dietary restrictions in mind.  We will gather late afternoon on Friday and conclude after streaming Sunday Service on Sunday.
