Consider traveling to beautiful, sunny Honduras, July 11-18, 2026!

This team will be working alongside our friends at the Central UMC in Danli. Some of the team projects include:

• ​Education through Vacation Bible School
• Support our partner church, Central UMC in Danli, through light construction
• Medical Mission: physicians and other medical personnel invited to apply for the medical component of this trip. Additional cost for medical team members, to pay for medical supplies.

Team members will meet with the church members and pastor of Central UMC, worship together, and be in mission together in their community. We’ll also learn all about the potential child sponsorship program in the high need schools in Danli, and meet the coordinator and pastor that oversee this program. This is a really meaningful opportunity to make connections and build relationships.On the last day of our trip, we will visit Juan Wesley School in Ciudad España, a town 45-minutes outside the capital of Honduras. Here, we can visit the children whose education Still Waters sponsors.

TRIP LEADERSHIP

This trip is being led by Lori Lossie and Lisa Gildersleeve, Pastor and Youth Ministry Director at Still Waters Community United Methodist Church in Jackson, WI.

TRIP REQUIREMENTS 

• Everyone is welcome on this trip! Participants do NOT need an understanding of Spanish, construction, or teaching background
• Age limit: 14+ (parent or guardian required for participants under 18)
• Safe Gatherings and Background check approval is required
