Terror on Rural Street
November 1
Join us for an evening of fun, faith, and fright! We’ll begin by meeting at the church for the 5:00 p.m. worship service, then head to Terror on Rural Street in Hartford — a local charity haunted house at 147 N. Rural Street, Hartford, WI 53027. Afterward, we’ll stop at Culver’s of Hartford, 1570 E. Sumner Street (Hwy 60), Hartford, WI 53027, for ice cream and fellowship.
Parents are welcome to join us for the haunted house, the ice cream, or both. All youth will be picked up at Culver’s in Hartford between 8:45 and 9:00 p.m. (this may vary slightly depending on wait times). Youth will call on the way to Culver’s to confirm pickup time.
Schedule Overview:
4:45 p.m. – Meet at Still Waters Community UMC
5:00 p.m. – Worship Service
6:00 p.m. – Depart for Terror on Rural Street (147 N. Rural St., Hartford, WI) 8:15–8:30 p.m.
Ice Cream at Culver’s (1570 E. Sumner St., Hartford, WI) ≈8:45–9:00 p.m. – Pick-up at Culver’s
Peer Mentor Training
Any youth who is a current peer mentor or peer mentor in training, mark your calendars for Saturday Nov. 8, 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. This will be essential leadership training for this for all peer mentors as we continue to grow in our faith and in our leadership. The latter part of the afternoon we will join the adults for Safer Sanctuaries training. Lunch provided. Sign up on the Connection Card or online. Any questions, contact Lisa.
