In The Community
Serving Our Neighbors

In the Old and New Testament, we are taught to care for the least of the community: the widow, the orphan, the poor, the sick. We have a handful of ways and partners out in the community where hands and hearts are needed to help provide for those that need it most.
Family Promise
June 15 - 21

Still Waters will partner with Family Promise the week of June 15–21 by providing meals for families experiencing homelessness. Family Promise is currently supporting five families (15 individuals) as well as nearly 20 additional men, women, and families in shelter.
Here’s How You Can Help!
- One option is to provide a meal: We’re looking for volunteers to prepare and deliver a large meal to the shelter by 3:00 p.m. on June 15, 19, or 21.
- A second option is to prepare and/or serve dinner on-site at Family Promise: Join us on Wednesday, June 17, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. as our team will bring a prepared meal to serve and join those experiencing homelessness to enjoy a taco dinner with all the fixings. You can volunteer to serve and/or, if you’d like to bring food, we could use: Taco meat and/or shed taco seasoned chicken, salsa, pico de gallo, lettuce, onions, cilantro, guacamole, shredded cheese, sour cream, corn and/or flour tortillas, tortilla chips, corn chips, taco shells, mexican rice and refried beans, mac & cheese, desserts, and refreshments.
Please sign up online or on your Connection Card for which option works best for you. You’ll come to Karl’s Place, 450 Water St, West Bend, WI 53095. Questions? Contact Kelly or Vicki Passineau.
Volunteer to help at Feeding America
The Second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 PM
Our Next Feeding America is July 8th.

Still Waters Church has an amazing opportunity to team up with Feeding America to help feed Washington County. Feeding America will bring pallets of perishable items to our church parking lot. We will pack up these items and then distribute them through a drive-through, placing packages in people’s vehicles.
